  Using the Clearinghouse and Submitting Inquiries back to top

Please browse through the Direct Alloys Online Clearinghouse to see available certified on-hand inventory from domestic and international mills, forgers, distributors, machine shops, and end-users.  Listed specialty metals include prime titanium, superalloy, specialty steel, copper and aluminum mill products.  For your convenience: 

  • The list may be filtered by Category, Alloy Group, Alloy, or Size.
  • Full or partial specification text searches are possible to help listings of interest. Some items may be able to be recertified to industry specifications. 
  • By clicking on a DA Item number you can see additional details about the listing, or request a quote and mill certificates for the item.  
  • The whole or filtered list may be downloaded to Excel for offline browsing. 
  • The header buttons also sort the listings. 
  • Direct Alloys sends a listings update to many industry buyers. Please contact us to be included on this email distribution. 

Feel free to call or send us an email if you do not see the needed item.  Direct Alloys will help locate material for a specific requirement even when not listed on the Clearinghouse.   Inquiries may also be submitted through our Online Inquiry/Search Form

 

  Determining Price, Availability and the Supplier back to top

 Contact Direct Alloys at your convenience for pricing, mill certificates, and to confirm availability of items of interest.  Prices are typically quoted Ex-works, FOB Origin, Duty Unpaid unless otherwise stated.  All items are quoted "Subject to prior sale or use".  If quoted from incoming mill stock, prices are PIE which may include any mill price changes and raw material adjustments. Items are normally listed in the certified finished condition "ready to ship".   Material shipment is generally less than 14 days, however leadtime is included in the quotations.  Unless otherwise stated, material is not packaged for overseas or air shipment.     Product is sold by Direct Alloys unless otherwise stated.  

  Entering Purchase Orders back to top

Customers enter purchase orders through Direct Alloys.   Our sales representative will reconfirm availability, lead time, price, terms and review order details. Direct Alloys then places an order on the supplier.     Generally, purchase orders ship directly from the supplier or our AS9100 certified warehouse unless outside crating is required.   

 

  Certificates back to top

Redacted mill certifications for stock items are usually available at time of inquiry.     Complete original certifications to the original buyer are provided with shipment along with Direct Alloys Certificate of Conformance, Pack List, Invoice and SLI (if export). if additional documentation is required this must be requested at order entry.


  Credit, Payment Terms, Freight and Shipping back to top

Direct Alloys is a unique sales distributor and brokerage connecting Buyers and Sellers of specialty metal products. Items are resold by Direct Alloys, with credit approval, freight arrangements, and payment terms agreed between the Buyer and Direct Alloys. Freight is offered as needed by partial flat bed or LTL is size permits. Boxing is available for overseas shipments.
