Inventory may be submitted by email to one of our representatives at sales@directalloys.com or online using the Inventory Submittal Form. Information needed includes the alloy, size, shape, condition, product description, quantity and primary certified specifications. A spreedsheet format is also acceptable for multiple items.  Please let us know if material is older than 5 years. All listed items must be traceable to the original melt source through mill certs and pack lists. Occasionally certificates of conformance from the seller are also required for a sale.   Listings are anonymous through the inquiry process and there is no time limit or exclusivity until the buyer has been identified.. If you have any questions feel free to call us and we will be happy to assist you.

Sellers determine their selling price when there is an inquiry for the product.  Direct Alloys adds its commission and quotes the final price to the customer. Factors to consider for pricing include age, lot size, and individual piece size, as well as current market conditions and the urgency of sale.  After Direct Alloys has reviewed and accepted the listing request, we will add the item to the online Clearinghouse.    There is no minimum listing period or exclusivity for listed items until a purchase order is entered.  Sellers have the option of using or removing items without notification to Direct Alloys. Periodically, we will request updates of the inventory status to keep listings accurate. If the seller publishes a periodic inventory update we ask that Direct Alloys be included on the distribution.
